I wrote about some weirdness with money here. There as been some new weirdness, which is raising a different kind of discomfort.
My account is up a large amount of money, and I can’t explain from where it came. I’ve not talked to the bank yet, but this is seriously unusual. I’ve never had money just dump in my account unrequested and unannounced.
So why is this uncomfortable? A chain reaction of thoughts related to tax authorities, possibility for an investigation of some sort, etc. It’s about how the environment may react that raises quite a bit of uncertainty. Money you expect receiving getting lost (as in my previous post) is one thing, money appearing from nowhere on your account without an appropriate explanation is another.
Anyway. Opportunity to Process discomfort and reclaim.
Ok. So I did the Process on this. And, it’s very funny, particularly my reaction.
Update:I’ve contacted the transferring bank, the exchange intermediary and my own bank. None of these parties can find anything unusual in this event. One customer service person even said “Congratulations!” Well, I’ll be.
